The Centre’s experience in consulting intervention spans a period of almost five decades. Our consulting intervention practice is richly endowed with this forty- nine years’ experience, directly and indirectly shared and passed on by generation of erudite professional management consultants. Our consultants are from varied disciplinary backgrounds, yet with knowledge of management as a common donominator. A team of consultants for any assignment can easily be constituted from this pool of experienced, talented professionals with strong expertise in different areas of management. The multifaceted nature of organizational problems demands an interdisciplinary approach for effective intervention.
With availability of these consultants, the consulting division is able to harness their skills to provide to consultancy services to business organizations all over the country. The Centre therefore, carries out consulting intervention and advisory services in the areas of training needs analysis, business feasibility studies, marketing, strategic management, human resource management and general management.
The general aim of our intervention is to achieve operational efficiency of clients of organization. In this regards, we have also undertaken consultancy assignments in several areas including, organisational restructuring, job evaluation, performance management and corporate reengineering of small, medium and large scale enterprises in public and private sectors of the economy.
The purpose is to make CMD, being a management resource Centre, the focal point of interaction for management consultants, practitioners and professionals. The interface of management consultants and intended consultants is again enhanced through the design and execution of capacity building programmes. These programmes help upgrade the quality and increase the number of professional and competent consultants in the country.
